Day 300: America Prays Monday – Pray for the Men of Our Nation

Psalm 25: 12-14
“Who is the man who fears the Lord? He will instruct him in the way that he should choose. His soul shall abide in well-being, and his offspring shall inherit the land. The friendship of the Lord is for those who fear Him, and he makes known to them His covenant.”

Proverbs 5:6
“For the ways of a man are before the eyes of the Lord, and he watches all his paths.

Our prayers over the last few weeks have been for our nation and our leaders, and today we will pray for all men in our country, whether they are fathers, grandfathers, married, single, or widowed. Once again, we are pointed to God’s Word that asks, “Who is the man who fears the Lord?” Let us pray for all of the men in our nation to have a fully devoted relationship with the Lord Jesus and that they be instructed to follow God in the way He would direct them to go.

Dear heavenly Father, we praise You for sending Your Son to be our Hope in a lost world. Many men in our country are wandering aimlessly, like lost souls, without purpose, peace, or hope. We pray that there would be a great movement of the Holy Spirit to touch the hearts of all men, regardless of their background, religious tradition, or even an irreligious upbringing. We ask that they would be drawn to You and to place their trust in Your Son, Jesus, as their only Hope. May they be inspired by the Savior’s servant leadership that set the example for all men, whatever their roles in life. May each one walk by that example so that the fruit of their own servant leadership would inspire and equip the next generation of leaders to meet the challenges they face with all the wisdom, knowledge, and spiritual resources that he can provide. Our nation depends on it! We pray that all men would be devoted to country, serving in whatever capacity they are able, to protect and defend our nation. Please, O God, raise men of all ages to be godly leaders in every walk of life. We ask that men take a stand for Christ, be spiritual warriors, defend the weak, speak Truth, because those coming behind them will depend on it. We ask in the mighty, powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
