Day 311: Post-Election Reflections – 40 Days of Prayer for Our Nation

Isaiah 41:10
“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.”

Deuteronomy 4: 6-8
“No other nation, no matter how great, has a god who is so near when they need him as the Lord our God is to us. He answers us whenever we call for help. No other nation, no matter how great, has laws so just as those that I have taught you today.”

Heavenly Father, how thankful we are to live in a great country, not great because of our military might or economy, but great because of the righteousness and order of its laws—rules based on divine law—and the privilege we have to vote. May we take heart that You, our Father, are in control of all of it, that You love us, and that we can trust the plan You are working out regarding who has been elected President of the United States, as well as those candidates elected in our States, counties, and local municipalities. May peace and order reign in this land that we love. We pray In Jesus’ name, Amen.
