Lent, Day 30:  In Christ

Ephesians 1:13-14
“And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit.”

Be encouraged, dear readers, that when you placed your faith in Jesus, you are “In Christ” and you can be assured that you are sealed with the Holy Spirit, forever!

Without Christ, I am a sinner; In Christ, I am saved. (Romans. 6:23)
Without Christ, my needs are great; In Christ, all my needs are met. (Phil. 4:19)
Without Christ, I am weak; In Christ, I am strong. (2 Cor. 12: 9-11)
Without Christ, we are dead; In Christ, we are alive to God. ((Rom. 6:11)
Without Christ, we are defeated; In Christ, we have victory. (1 Cor. 15:57)
Without Christ, I cannot; In Christ, I am more than able. (Jn 15: 4-5)
Without Christ, we have a sin nature; In Christ, a new creation has come, the old has gone. (2 Cor. 5:17)
Without Christ, I am condemned; In Christ, there is no condemnation. (Rom. 8:1)
Without Christ, I had no purpose; In Christ, I was created to do good works. (Eph 2:10)
Without Christ, I am separated from God; In Christ, nothing can separate me from God’s love. (Rom. 8: 31, 38-39)
Without Christ, I was dead; In Christ, I have eternal life. (1 Jn. 5: 11-12)

Thank you, Lord Jesus, for the promises we find in God’s Word that offer assurance of the great love You have for us, and that we can be secure in knowing that, in Christ, we are Yours forever. Amen
