“The time is fulfilled,” He said, “and the kingdom of God is near. Repent and believe in the gospel.”
Do you, like me, have a sense that God is up to something? A revival and even a new, Third Great Awakening has been on the minds and hearts of many across our country the last few years. A fresh breath of the Holy Spirit is convicting hearts and offering the Hope of eternal life. I remember the revival that swept the country back in the 70s and I was one of those forever changed by the Spirit of God. For at least thirty years I have been praying for another revival, a fresh movement of His Spirit. Oh, to be a witness to that! True revival begins with a great movement of prayer, repentance, and a renewed love for Jesus and His glory, and it begins with us. Breathe on us, O breath of God! Come, Holy Spirit! Come and revive us with Your life-changing power!

Oh, Holy Spirit of God, just as you have poured out revival in our nation’s history, we ask that You would do it again. Bring change—by Your life-changing power—in the form of love, compassion, integrity, truth-telling and total dependance on You. We ask in the name of Jesus. Amen.
