Numbers 10:9:
“When you go into battle in your own land against an enemy who is oppressing you, sound a blast on the trumpets. Then you will be remembered by the LORD your God and rescued from your enemies.”
Sadly, we live in dark times when the evil one is using every weapon in his arsenal to deceive and destroy God’s people. We must always be alert to the sound of the Holy Spirit’s trumpet call to prepare us for whatever spiritual battle we face, as individuals, families, churches, and our nation. As we move in unity to pray, God empowers us to resist any attacks of the evil one. Stay alert, and remember what is written in 1 John 4:4: “Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.”
Father, I thank you for Your promise of remembering us and rescuing us from our enemies. Help me, and those in churches throughout the land, to be alert to Your trumpet call to prayer, that we may stand against the attacks of the evil one, especially all enemies of our families, churches and nation. In Your mighty name we pray.
